10 Weirdest Sci-Fi Movies You Must Watch

The cinemas can get trippy when it comes to sci-fi. There is an opportunity for a unique level of freedom to get weird. Some of the best sci-fi movies of all time are psychedelic masterpieces. They play with the viewer’s perception of reality, as it bends and twists existential concepts like time and space in on themselves.

Here is a list of 10 trippiest sci-fi movies that you should not miss.

  1. Donnie Darko

Released in 2002, the movie made an overnight superstar of its leading man, a disaffected, brooding Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal portrays a titular angsty teen. 1. 12 Monkeys

This movie’s idea is a lot weirder, as the actress acts as a dream detective who must retrieve a device that allows the user to invade the dreams of others.

  1. Southland
