Murder of 65-year-old Mohammad Rahman

Mohammad Rahman was a 65-year-old, father of three daughters. He was killed in October in a parking lot of the mosque. The mosque was located in Upper Darby. Law officials announced the arrest of the murderer of the deceased. Jack Stollsteimer is the district attorney of Delaware County. He announced the arrest of Herman Stigall. He is a 20-year-old resident of Philadelphia, who killed the man. He was carjacking a car when he encountered Mohammed Rahman and shot him. The incident happened outside of the Masjid Al-Madinah Islamic Centre along 69th Street on Sunday, Oct. 29.

The initial incident happened around 7:45 pm. Rahman’s vehicle was reported to be a white Toyota Rav-4 and was later found along the 800 block of Cecil Street in Philadelphia, officials said. His cell phone was found in a storm drain. They were able to connect Stigall to the murder when a robbery was reported at the King of Prussia Mall on Oct. 30.

The officials obtained an arrest warrant for Stigall for the robbery at the mall. The officers then tracked a vehicle that was believed to be operating. The arrest was made after he crashed the given vehicle on I-76. Stigall was carrying a handgun with himself which is believed to be used to kill Rahman. Hence, the criminal has been charged with crimes like murder, robbery, and firearm offenses.

Murder of a 15-year-old 10th grader

A 15-year-old 10th grader was stabbed to death in Delaware County. The murderer is identified to be a 24-year-old man named Marson Weh. District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and Upper Darby Police Superintendent Tim Bernhardt announced during a Wednesday afternoon press conference that the murderer of Michael Garr has been caught.

Michael Garr was a student at Upper Darby High School. He was found bleeding from a stab wound to the chest in Drexel Hill. A neighbor even claimed that she heard a man screaming for help. Many people like the neighbors along with the responding medics tried to revive the teenager but it was of no help at all, as he died on the spot.

The Upper Darby Police saw a couple walking hand in hand on the murder day near the crime scene. The couple turned out to be of no help in gathering information.

The surveillance footage was analyzed a lot of times and the detectives finally noticed a man running from the 200 block of Bridge Street. The routes that the man took were very suspicious hence, they wanted to identify him. The man turned out to be Marson Weh. The investigators were able to identify him as he was wanted in Ohio for an unrelated assault.

He was arrested when he was spotted leaving a home on the 100 block of Willowbrook Avenue. He was supposedly wearing the same clothes that he wore on the day he murdered the teenager. He was taken into custody where he was incorporated with the police. Even though he has only been pled guilty for his crimes in Ohio, he will be extradited to Upper Derby for the homicide case.
